Description

The topic of an Invited session should fall within the scope of the congress and address specific, well defined issues. Invited sessions consist of six papers on a specific research subject and are based on personal invitation by the Invited session organizer(s). Contributions to Invited sessions must be IFAC-standard papers (regular paper of 6-8 pages length). Invited session organizers need to submit an Invited session proposal via the papercept system as early as possible and no later than December 1st, 2021. It needs to include (by following the template – pdf, Latex):

* the session title,
* an abstract describing the topic
* the titles, authors with affiliations and abstracts of expected contributions.

Organizers obtain upon submission an invited session code that they should distribute to contributors.

Each paper submitted to an Invited session as well as the session proposal will be individually reviewed. At the discretion of the program committee, individual papers may be removed from a proposed Invited session and placed in the regular program, and appropriate contributed papers may be moved to an Invited session. Likewise, selected papers from a rejected Invited session may be placed into the regular program.

The organizers can flag the invited sessions as “open” upon submission. Such proposals will be published on the CAO 2022 website, and interested authors can opt to submit their papers for such sessions. There is no limitation on the number of papers for “Open” Invited Session. Irrespective of the deadline, please submit your proposal as early as possible so that your Open Invited Session will draw the attention of more potential contributors.
